About LHRC
We help children grow into independent, confident members of their communities, and live their lives with dignity.
In 2012, we opened our first rehabilitation center in Lebanon.
Since then, we offered full rehabilitation care to hundreds of underprivileged children suffering from a multitude of conditions; spinal cord injuries, brain traumas, cerebral palsy, muscular & skeletal impairment, orthopedic traumas, this has allowed children patients supported by HCF Lebanon to regain autonomy and self-esteem, often leading to better access to education, better social inclusion, and a chance to have a professional career.
Our Treatment Programs
We want every child to grow into an independent, confident member of their community, and to live with dignity. That's why we built six therapy programs, each one designed around a child's needs.

Physical therapy helps individuals improve their movement and manage pain through exercises, manual therapy, and various modalities. It is designed to restore function, enhance mobility, and prevent further injury.

Occupational therapy focuses on helping people develop, recover, or maintain daily living and work skills. It involves adapting environments and tasks to fit the individual’s needs, enabling them to lead more independent and satisfying lives.

Speech therapy addresses communication and swallowing disorders. Speech therapists work with individuals to improve their speech, language, cognitive-communication, and oral feeding skills.

Psychomotor therapy combines physical activity with psychological techniques to improve emotional and motor development. It is used to enhance coordination, self-regulation, and cognitive functions through structured movement activities.

Pool therapy, or aquatic therapy, involves exercises performed in water to help with rehabilitation and fitness. The floatiness and resistance of water make it an ideal environment for improving strength, flexibility, and range of motion while reducing stress on the body.

Psychological support provides emotional and mental health assistance through counseling and therapy. This service helps individuals cope with stress, anxiety, depression, and other mental health issues, fostering overall well-being and resilience.

Our Centers
Hotel Dieu de France Hospital
This is where it all began. In 2012, we opened our first Laetitia Hatem Rehabilitation Center inside the hospital, and we've been welcoming children and their families here ever since.
Cortbawi Hospital
As Hôtel-Dieu de France takes over the management of Cortbawi Hospital, we've extended our partnership to bring our care closer to more children and families in Keserwan.
Our Outdoor Space
The Rehabilitation & Healing Garden
The Rehabilitation & Healing Garden is designed to offer all patients a unique opportunity and an ideal space to heal and recuperate in a setting conceived to enhance their well-being. It is an essential component of the center.
It provides all patients with a pleasant outdoor space for therapy, including group therapy for children, and the chance to experience healing in green, peaceful surroundings.
Our Therapeutic Pool
The Rehabilitation & Aquatic Therapy Pool
Our therapy pool is a space where children can move in ways that are harder on land. Water carries part of their weight and gently resists every movement, so each exercise builds strength, flexibility and range of motion while putting less strain on the body. It is an essential part of the center..
Here, children work with our therapists one-on-one or in small groups, often discovering movements they didn’t think they could do. In the water, effort feels lighter, and progress often comes with a smile.
